At The Share House, we pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive environment where respect is paramount. Inappropriate behaviour and discrimination are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate exclusion from our community.
As part of The Share House community, you are expected to:
- Show respect and courtesy in all interactions.
- Use The Share House for the rooms, car park, storage and pre-loved items offerings or searches. Contacting members for other purposes is not permitted.
- Treat everyone equally, regardless of race, gender, identity, religion, age, or sexual orientation.
- Only list the accommodation that is safe and comfortable, and which you would consider living in yourself.
- Ensure all information provided about yourself, potential housemates, and properties is accurate and honest.
- Comply with all local laws and regulations.
Behaviors that will not be tolerated include, but are not limited to:
- Offensive or abusive language.
- Misusing the platform for dating.
- Proposing rent in exchange for sexual favours.
- Using explicit or suggestive language.
- Sharing inappropriate images.
- Engaging in physical or verbal aggression.
Violating these guidelines or any other terms may result in your removal from the community and potential reporting to authorities.
Please note: that while The Share House members create all content, we do not inspect properties or meet members face-to-face. To maintain our standards, we rely on your vigilance. If you encounter inappropriate content or behaviour, please report it using the links provided on listing pages or within our messaging system.
